Forum for Security and Democracy is an association of citizens established on 20^th May 2004 in Belgrade, with the purpose of contributing, through its activities, to democratization processes in society, especially to enhancing stronger civilian oversight, de-ideologization and de-politization of the whole security domain.

As its fundamental principle, the Forum for Security and Democracy, advocates the belief that defense and security issues are inseparable from the issues of civil rights and freedoms, as well as political and social stability.
